Dean Street is excited to introduce Chef Simon Glenn as our Executive Chef. An excerpt of the press release is below:
Chef Simon Glenn, the force behind Brooklyn’s popular Tchoup Shop pop-up restaurant – working out of d.b.a. Williamsburg since 2009 – has just accepted the position of Executive Chef at Dean Street, the Prospect Heights neighborhood tavern just a few blocks from the new Barclays Center.
Glenn has been leasing space from the owners of Dean Street, Rob Gelardi (also owner of WXOU Radio Bar in the Village) and John Longo, to prepare his food for Tchoup Shop. Glenn has put his southern stamp on Dean Street’s menu, introducing his Shrimp Po’ Boy, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and Cornmeal Crusted Catfish.
