On November 26th, there will be an interborough battle at Barclays for basketball bragging rights. Originally, the Brooklyn Nets were scheduled to open their season in a much awaited game against crosstown rivals the Knicks. However, due to Hurricane Sandy, the game will be played at the end of the month, which has only given the hype time to build for this nationally televised contest.
If you are looking for a good Brooklyn pregame bar for Nets games, you should come by Dean Street. We are located an easy 5-10 minute walk from the Barclays Center, meaning our restaurant is near the Barclays Center and the game, but is far enough away so that you can avoid the crowds you might find closer to the arena. We are also pleased to announce that a ticket stub from that night’s event can be redeemed for one (1) free drink with any purchase at Dean Street.
So if you are going to the most highly anticipated basketball game in the City since a certain Harvard grad took the town by storm and you are also looking for a good bar and restaurant in Prospect Heights, come visit us at Dean Street. Postgame or pregame, you’re always welcome.
